HID Global SlimFlex RFID tags are among the most advanced general purpose UHF tags available. The unique thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) housings tolerate repeated bending or torsion, while maintaining excellent performance characteristics. The durable housing safeguards embedded electronics, even under harsh conditions.

HID Global’s SlimFlex Laundry Tag features a passive contactless UHF transponder with 256 bit EPC number and 512 bit additional user memory, so the tag is ready to suit complex applications. The SlimFlex Laundry tag offers anti-collision functionality, fast data rate communication and a large read range compared to its size. Additionally the tag is compliant with EPCglobal-certified.

The SlimFlex Laundry Tag is designed to be used in industrial laundry applications to withstand repeated washing and drying cycles in professional cleaning equipment. Being a small, flexible white strip, the tag can easily be unobtrusively embedded in clothing or linen and remains hidden to the user in everyday operations.

Apart from laundry use the tag’s highly robust design also makes it ideal for many other industrial non-metal applications.
