The Intermec SR61EX is the first handheld cordless scanner with integrated 2D near and far area imaging Technology, incorporating the flexibility and rugged design of a handheld scanner, with the seamless functionality of wireless communication. The SR61EX features a personal area network (PAN) radio based on the Bluetooth� communication protocol, making scanning easier and safer, with no costly cables to damage or become entangled. Users gain hassle-free mobility of up to 30 meters from the host!

With the ability to read linear, stacked and 2D barcodes from as far away as 12 meters, the SR61EX allows users to meet the specific needs of their environment. The reading of barcodes from a handheld document and also from racking 6 meters up, while sitting in a forklift, can now both be acheived with the same reader. Whether reading specific barcode symbologies, decoding poor quality or damaged barcodes with ease, or the ability to capture signatures for proof of delivery and point of service applications, the SR61EX will meet the need.
