The SkyeModule Nova marks the next generation of SkyeTek UHF reader modules. The Nova is an ultra-small, power eficient EPC Class 1 Gen 2 reader/writer module. Am cutting edge ARM Cortex microcontroller and the latest UHF transceiver technology coupled with the readers intelligent operating system make this modulethe most feature rich ÜHF reader module manuyfactured in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. Quality is a top priority for all SkyeTek Miodules.

the SkuyeTek module Nova adheres to the PCI Express Mini half card form factor, a widely popular format which allows the Nova to be used quickly and easily in mobile computing applications. At the size of a matchbook this modlue can also fit into almost any new OEM design and is well suited to for battery powered applications.

The Nova utilizes 2 antenna ports that can be software selected and includes SkyTek's Adaptive antenna Tuning, meaning the nova can automatically detect and correct for impedance mismatches between the reader and antenna.

The Nova uses the same SkyeTek Protocol as the M&, M9 & M10 modules, so existing users can easily migrate to the the next generation product. With a Mini PCI Express half height form factor the Nova appears as a USB device when plugged in.
