The EX25, Intermec’s latest in data capture technology is a near-far range scan engine, based on area imaging technology. At the product level, this imager solution offers our customers the ability to read both 1D and 2D bar codes, omni-directionally at read distances from 6 inches to 50 feet, and all points in between; to capture images, signatures and documents; and to leverage a new laser pointer to enable more accurate scanning at long distances. This combination of features and capabilities cannot be achieved with the other long range laser scanners on the market.

The EX25 demonstrates Intermec’s commitment to exceed customer and marketplace expectations by constantly innovating. As the first auto-focus 2D imager, the EX25 not only meets, but exceeds the capabilities of long range laser scanning, removing the exclusivity, currently held by long range laser technology, and opening up choice in the marketplace.

The EX25 is well-suited to meet the demands of today, dominated by the need to scan linear bar codes, as well as those of tomorrow with the growing use of 2D codes in many industries.
