EA15/30/31 Interface Board

	The UMD MP2101 provides mounting and either RS232 serial or USB connectivity to the Intermec EA30 and EA31 Area Imager Scan Engines. The serial version is also electrically compatible with many of the earlier Intermec EOM Scan engines and can mount the EA11/15/20. The MP2101 serial board allows the Barcode Engine to be mounted horizontally and provides either a 6 way screw terminal block, dual 10 way header pins or an RJ socket for serial connection, with power provided either through the connected cable or on a separate screw terminal connection. The MP2101 USB board is provided with a USB Mini-B connector and can either be configured to take USB power or power from a separate outside source that is then regulated on the MP2101. The MP2100 is ideally suited for internal mounting and simple integration of 2D barcode scan readers into equipment such as kiosks and instruments.
