Based on Alien®’s innovative Squiggle antenna design, the ALN-9X40 Series deliver industry leading EPC Gen 2 range and reliability at competitive prices. ALN-9X40 inlays are also World Tag compliant, enabling inlays that operate consistently across the diverse frequencies of the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

With its Higgs Family core, the Squiggle delivers unprecedented performance and a rich feature set for authentication and serialization applications, an extensible EPC memory bank, user memory for distributed data applications, and password protected read and write support capabilities to prevent unauthorized viewing and modification of the tag’s data. Typical applications for the Squiggle include, but are not limited to, corrugate cases, pallet placards, apparel hang tags, baggage tags, shipping labels, asset management, and file folder labels.

The ALN-9X40 is the most versatile member of Alien’s family of Alien Higgs powered UHF RFID inlays. Other members include: the 2 x 2 (ALN-9X34), an omni-directional inlay for baggage and apparel; the M (ALN-9X54) for high-performance on plastics; and the Squiggle-SQ (ALN-9X29) for small item inlays. All members of the family are manufactured using Alien’s patented Fluidic Self Assembly (FSA™) process, which delivers high inlay volumes at low unit costs.
