UHF RFID Tag

HID Global SlimFlex Seal Tag transponders are ideal for sealing industrial containers – bags, bins or boxes – preventing unauthorized access to contents while in storage or during distribution. Seal Tag units integrate powerful RFID chips with high durability components, and secure, tamper-evident cable ties.

High visibility Seal Tag units enable assignment of a unique electronic identifier to each securely fastened container. To access a sealed container’s contents requires severing the cable tie or breaching of the container itself, either incursion providing clear evidence of tampering.

Anti-collision technology enables fast, comprehensive inventories and real-time tracking during distribution and receiving, resulting in faster, more accurate accounting for regulatory reporting or stock planning.

Containers with UHF Seal Tag closures can be identified from up to 26 ft (8 m) , enabling entire loads of sealed containers to be read as trucks pass through stationary readers. HF Seal Tags can be identified and updated with handheld readers and ISO 15693 compatible NFC devices.

Seal Tag RFID tags are waterproof and food compatible. They withstand rugged outdoor use, providing high resistance to aggressive liquids and UV rays, and delivering reliable performance and reading stability at high and sub-freezing temperatures.

Seal Tag units attach anywhere a cable tie can be used. Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) housings tolerate repeated bending or torsion, while maintaining excellent performance characteristics. The yellow tag color provides excellent contrast for optical identification, and may be laser engraved or embossed with logos, barcodes or text.
