UMD Model 291 Custom Asynchronous Terminal

The VGA monitor interface is industry standard, providing flexible options to connect a range of monitor sizes, in colour or monochrome. Output can be either 80 or 132 column.

The ISO 6429 ( AS 2761 ) standard ANSI Terminal Emulation makes it an ideal terminal for connection to multi-user computer systems.

The Model 291 Custom Asynchronous Terminal has flexible interfacing options incorporating bar code decoder, parallel printer and serial interfaces. All 128 keys are programmable, allowing the keyboard to be tailored to suit your software exactly. There are two types of keys available, sealed or keycap.

• Removable keycap type:
• - Keycaps are user legendable or pre-printed
• - Single width, double width and double height/width(quad) keys available
• - can be oriented horizontally or vertically
• Sealed type:
• - Single and double keys available
• - Suitable for hygienic and wet environments
• - Legend by writing on an easily removed sheet or pre-printing a legend overlay sheet
• - Positive tactile "keyclick" feedback and feel
• Optional keylock or Touch Memory for security
• Optional in-built Magnetic Card Reader, 1 or 2 track
